ABOUT
 

HI THERE! 

I'm Veronique de Leon, a dedicated health coach and consultant committed to guiding professionals from the (electronic) music industry toward a healthier lifestyle through my coaching practice, SolSync.

​

My coaching services are finely tuned to cater specifically to professionals in the electronic music industry, drawing upon my extensive 9-year immersion in this field. However, I'm happy to share that my coaching services are available to everyone, regardless of your connection to the music industry.

I started working in the field of electronic music as a freelance stage manager and artist manager, a position I held for two years. This led to a full-time role as the head of programming and artist liaison for Elevation Events, an independent production company that focuses on large scale event productions across the Netherlands.

In this role, I was heavily involved in numerous festival productions while simultaneously working as the manager of WAS, a 1.000 capacity nightclub in Utrecht. I held sole responsibility for bookings, operations of the entire venue, the majority of staff, and booked hundreds of artists and managed artist liaison on the festival production side. The final position in my career as a booker was at De School, one of Amsterdam's most revered night clubs, entertaining more than a thousand guests every weekend. I worked there during the club’s final year and I’m now ready to make a contribution to the scene in a different and unique way. ​I have a strong passion for music, coaching, nutrition, exercise and everything wellness-related. Next to this, I love to cuddle my dog, bake fresh sourdough and work in our vegetable garden. And, of course, you can find me in the gym several times a week when I’m not spending time outside in nature. I developed my passion for wellness when I was in an unhealthy phase in my life that was defined by a lot of physical symptoms. After being completely done with feeling like crap all the time, I took matters into my own hands and thankfully have been able to turn around my health for the better by educating and healing myself. Now I would love to help others do the same.

MY MISSION

The event industry is its own microcosm, and is a cool, indulgent work environment where you can create the most beautiful experiences with the loveliest people. However, there is a very unhealthy side to this industry; working night shifts, long (festival) production days, lack of sleep, use of alcohol and substances, an overstimulating environment and not to forget the constant pressure of working and living in this fast-paced, competitive industry. On top of all this, it’s hard to set and keep boundaries to take care of yourself if your work and private life are so intertwined. ​ The event industry is continually evolving, and I can see that sustainable change would be beneficial. It is clear to me that there is a demand for guidance on navigating this specific field of work in a healthy and achievable manner. This is where my passion for music, events, and wellness converge, and where I would love to assist in making those changes. I have made it my mission to help people find a way that works best for them individually (as no two persons are the same) while still enjoying the work they love. I'm here to coach artists as well as all the other people that work behind the scenes, who give it their all to make showdays a success. Because even though people have their own tasks and responsibilities, they may still struggle with a lot of the same issues that are inherent to this field. ​ Through my journey, I've gained an intimate understanding of the unique challenges and demands of this dynamic industry. This insight allows me to connect with individuals on a deep level, providing a coaching experience that is both intuitive and effective.

As an individual and coach, I'm always evolving. No one is ever entirely perfect, and the beauty of being human is the capacity for continuous growth. Some of my current personal goals include:

  • Gaining a deeper understanding of old behavioral patterns stemming from my upbringing, and consciously choosing to react differently in certain situations.

​

  • Restoring hormonal balance after 18 years of contraceptive use.

​

  • Striving to become the strongest and fittest version of myself through specific strength & conditioning training.

​

  • Engaging in ongoing self-reflection and furthering my knowledge in relevant areas to enhance my coaching skills even further.
